The purpose of CFG-studio/GFC-estudio’s Grant / Grants is exclusively to encourage & render available to the public worldwide the culture of contemporary flamenco guitar, specifically the works related to Paco de Lucia’s contributions and innovations on the Spanish & compositional musical field as well as in the Flamenco-Jazz realm for guitar players, guitar teachers, composers and beyond.
Applicants must submit:
1) One YouTube video in which the applicant must explain and elaborate on the the rhythmic and harmonic techniques and the technical variations that Ruben Diaz used in the video of Grant 23, as well as, why and how they were utilized. It must include examples of the performance fragments of the accompaniment as it was played by Ruben Diaz in the video pof Grant 31 (at least 5 rounds) played by the applicant. The above mentioned video must be simultaneously played with metronome and with the following jam track:
2) Another YouTube video in which the applicant plays literally the accompaniment part that Ruben Diaz performed in the video of Grant 31 using the jam track given above.
Useful information about the submissions:
To avoid that unscrupulous persons create electronic or graphic related materials with the “Appropriate quotes & dates” just to obtain by cheating the CFG Studio grant / grants.
3) The afore mentioned material / materials for the applicant’s submissions must exclude any video-lesson, or article written by Ruben Diaz.
